HAMPTON TOWNSHIP – Tragedy struck on Sunday night in Hampton Township when a two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a 52-year-old woman and left her teenage son in critical condition.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 44-year-old Essexville man, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after receiving medical attention for his injuries.
The collision occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Hampton Road between Kaczmarek Drive and Finn Road. Details surrounding the incident remain under investigation by Hampton Township Public Safety.
