Collegiate Review: Water Street Nutrition

By Sesa Graham

BAY CITY- Water Street Nutrition, located at 904 N. Water St., has turned heads on social media with its vibrant teas and shakes. Not only do they look good, but they are filled with protein, vitamins, and minerals. With over 80 different shake flavors and 16 different tea flavors, you are bound to find something to enjoy. They also offer dairy-free options for shakes.

With all of the hype around Water Street Nutrition, the staff of the Delta Collegiate had to try it! Here’s what the team had to say:

Sweetheart Sunrise tea (pictured above) is filled with orange, strawberry, banana, and pineapple flavors.

Sweetheart Sunrise tea review by Heather Kittle: “At first taste, it was flavored very well, and I enjoyed it. But after a few brief moments, the amount of sugar in this drink was overwhelmingly noticeable. I thought it would be refreshing given the business’s name, but I wasn’t feeling it. I would give the drink I had a 6 out of 10. Maybe it would have been better during the summer months or smaller size.”

Sourpatch Peach tea (pictured above) is filled with lemon-lime liftoff, peach tea, strawberry-kiwi tea, and peach flavors.

Sourpatch Peach tea review by Spencer Isberg: “The flavor kicks in after a second, almost tasting like hibiscus but more like strawberry or orange. It tastes like someone dropped an entire bag of sour patch kids in it, but I could see this drink being fantastic for the beach. It’s a very good drink with many flavors, but it is on the border of being almost too sugary. I would give this drink a 7 out of 10.”

Gusherz tea (pictured above) is filled with orange liftoff, blue raspberry tea, and pineapple flavors.

Gusherz tea review by Sesa Graham: “The staff was amicable, and the environment inside was welcoming. When I first tried my Gusherz tea, I didn’t realize I had to mix it up. Once I did, it tasted like a sugar bomb and exactly like my pre-workout. I got nervous, thinking I was about to be ready to run a marathon during our meeting, but luckily, I didn’t. It tastes more sugary than tea-like, but if that’s something you like, this drink is for you. Overall, I would rate this drink a 7.5 out of 10.”

If these reviews or pictures made your mouth water, it looks like you better head down to Water Street Nutrition and grab yourself a beverage!
