Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra to play ‘Music Under The Stars’

BAY CITY — The night sky in winter is breathtaking but so is the cold. If you want to stargaze and stay cozy, and if you love symphonic music, listen up.

The Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra will perform “Music Under the Stars” live at the Delta College Planetarium in downtown Bay City. Music will be choreographed with surreal, mystical, visual effects in the Dome 360 theater.

Led by the Symphony’s principal percussionist John Dorsey, selections such as “Postludes” by Elliot Cole, “Akadina Trio” by Emmanuel Sejourne, and “Rain Tree” by Toru Takemistsu will be featured.

There will be two showings on Friday, Jan. 31 — one at 6:30 p.m and another at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person. Seats are running out, so reserve your spot soon!
