Race, history, politics, and more with Dr. Jelani Cobb

UNIVERSITY CENTER – Dr. Jelani Cobb will be on campus at Delta College for an in-person event discussing race, history, politics, and culture in America. He will share the ways the past is still impacting America today.

As part of the President’s Speaker Series, this event is free and open to the public. Join this event on Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in lecture theater G160 on Delta’s main campus.

Dr. Cobb is well known as the author of “Substance of Hope: Barack Obama and the Paradox of Progress,” is a contributing writer to the New Yorker, has been featured in a Netflix documentary called “13th,” and was recently appointed to Dean of Columbia Journalism School.
