Happy little trees: Bob Ross painting workshop

On Nov. 12 Delta invites you to learn how to paint like a pro with certified Bob Ross instructor, Ted Simpson.

This workshop will be held at the Main Campus in the Delta College Public Media Studio, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tickets for this event are $140 and include the Bob Ross painting workshop, painting supplies, lunch, and tour of the Delta Public Media Studios.

Bob Ross was an American painter and television personality best known for his iconic TV show “The Joy of Painting.”

His show ran until 1994, demonstrating how to create landscapes quickly and effortlessly. He had a unique and gentle approach, often referring to his paintings as happy little trees and happy little clouds.

One of Bob Ross’s most notable characteristics was his positive approach of embracing mistakes and turning them into happy accidents. His calm and gentle demeanor earned him a wide audience, making him a beloved figure on television.
