Easter is right around the corner and here are some local events to go to.

Tooth-friendly egg hunt at the Children’s Museum

Join the Children’s Museum for their tenth annual “Tooth-Friendly Egg Hunt” on April 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Children will get to search the museum to gather eggs and turn them in for goodie bags full of tasty, tooth-friendly treats. Uptown Area Easter egg hunt 

Join the Bay City Community for the Uptown Area Easter Egg Hunt on April 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Uptown Bay City, 130 Uptown Drive, in the green space next to Real Seafood. This free event is open to the public. For more information call (989) 799-5700.

Canterbury egg stravaganza

Join the Canterbury Village for the Canterbury Egg Stravaganza on April 1, 2, 7, and 8. Children will get to collect up to 10 eggs from the helicopter drop-off and redeem them for prizes. Easter activities will be spread throughout the village, including lawn games, a petting zoo, free photos in the Bunny Barn, and much more. Time slots are set up for the safety of the kids, and tickets must be purchased for the appropriate age group. Get your tickets soon, there are no walk-ins allowed. Breakfast with the Bunny 

Join the Canterbury Village for Breakfast with the Bunny on April 1, 2, 7, and 8. Seating starts at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The breakfast will consist of pastries, muffins, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, and much more. Tickets are $24.99 and can be purchased online. Bridgeport’s annual Easter egg hunt 

The Bridgeport Community’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is on April 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Frank Anderson Recreation Complex, located at 3650 Southfield Drive. This free event will be separated by age group. Children three and under are set for 11:15 a.m. Ages four to seven will go at 11:30 a.m. Eight to twelve year olds will go at 11:45 a.m. If it rains, the event will be moved to April 8. Easter egg hunt at the McDowell Healing Arts Center 

Join McDowell Healing Arts Center for a free Easter Egg Hunt on April 1 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at 3253 Congress Avenue. This event will consist of two egg hunts. One for kids aged two to six and the other for kids aged seven to 12. For more information call (989) 475-4171. 

2023 Easter egg hunt at the Sanford American Legion

Join the Sanford American Legion Post for the free 2023 Easter Egg Hunt on April 2 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. This family event will be held on the grounds of the Sanford American Legion, 2080 N. Meridian Road. For more information, call (989) 687-9930. 

4-H Club’s Easter egg hunt

Join the Westsiders 4-H Club for an Easter Egg Hunt on April 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Richland Township Park, located at 348 Colorado Ridge Drive. The event is for ages 10 and under. For more information, call (989) 642-2097. 

Seceond annual Easter Egg Hunt for 7-Eleven 

Join 7-Eleven for the second annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 2 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at 3543 Old Kawkawlin Road in Bay City. This event will also include Easter bunny photos, slurpees, and fun kid activities. Each kid will be given an egg cart to fill, with a limit of 12 eggs per child. 

Easter egg scavenger hunt at the Historical Museum of Bay City 

The Historical Museum of Bay County, 321 Washington Avenue, is hosting a free Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt on April 3, 4, 5, and 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Kids will search for 20 eggs hidden in the gallery. Once all 20 are collected, they turn them in for a coupon for a free mini scoop at Cream & Sugar Ice Cream Company. For more information, call (989) 893-5733. 

Dinner with the Easter Bunny at Big Boys 

Enjoy dinner with the Easter Bunny at Big Boys in Midland, 1513 S. Saginaw Road, on April 5 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Kids eat free with an adult purchase. For more information, call (989) 631-1059. 

Spring has sprung event in Saginaw

Join Saginaw for “Spring Has Sprung” on April 4 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Also on April 7 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The event will be at Saginaw Township Recreation located at 3320 North Center Road. This $15 event is for one to five year olds and will include music, prizes, and pictures. Register now, as the class size is limited. For more information, call (989) 791-9860. 

Splish splash egg dash at Delta 

Stop by Delta College’s Fitness & Recreation Center, 1961 Delta Road, for the “Splish Splash Egg Dash” on April 7 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Children ages one to 14 will splash in the pool searching for eggs and playing fun games. Each child will receive a goodie bag to take home. Parents must participate in the pool with children five and under. Eggstravaganza egg hunt at Symphony Tri-Cities

Participate in the Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt on April 7 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Symphony Tri-Cities, 6700 Bay Road. This free event will include an egg hunt, games, lots of treats, and pictures with the Easter bunny. For more information, call (989) 667-9800.

Soldan’s pet Easter egg hunt

Join the pet community on April 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for Soldan’s Pet Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn of Plymouth Park, 1508 E. Wheeler Street. Colorful eggs will be scattered in the grass, filled with tasty dog treats and prizes. 

If your dog finds the golden ticket, they can get an Easter basket filled with toys, treats, and a gift card to Soldan. Each hunt is by weight class, and each hunt costs $10 per dog. This event will also include food trucks, pet food vendors, and dogs up for adoption. Please make sure your dog is up to date on shots and vaccinations. You can also pre-register for the event. 

Chippewa Nature Center eggs extravaganza 

Join the Chippewa Nature Center, 400 South Badour Road, for Nature’s Eggs Extravaganza on April 8 at 10:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., or 11:30 a.m. Each child will be able to make their own bag and venture into the woods to search for eggs. Guests will also be able to learn about Michigan’s egg-laying animals through games and activities. Register today for $10, and only $8 if you’re a CNC member. St. Charles Easter egg hunt
