Dow Gardens hosts a walk through Fall

Dow Garden’s Fall Evening Walk was open to community members on Oct. 28. Hundreds of people turned out for an evening stroll through the lantern-lit gardens, stopping to sightsee and enjoy typical fall festivities. Employees from Jacques Orchard, located in Hemlock, catered the event with fall goodies such as homemade caramel apples, doughnuts, and apple cider.

Dow Gardens will be hosting other community events in the upcoming months. Savor, sip and save will be held on Nov. 16 from 1-6 p.m. Samples of Tea Forte and Dove chocolate will be handed out and a special coupons will be given for Dow’s gift shop. People who attend this event will also be eligible to win a gift basket from Cherry Republic full of Michigan-made products

Another garden walk-through, the Christmas Walk, will be held Dec. 8-10 and 16-17. This free event will be similar to the fall evening walk where community members can stroll through the snow laden pathways while listening to Christmas carolers.
