Delta College closes to public

UNIVERSITY CENTER – As the number of coronavirus cases in the state of Michigan continues to increase, Delta College is completely closing its doors to the public effective Monday, March 16 at 3 p.m.

In a press release, Delta announced that the closure will last until Friday, April 10. This closure includes the pool and fitness center, the Library and Learning Information Center, testing center, tutoring center and all other public services. In addition, all remaining events have been canceled.

Online distance learning will continue during this time period. The college will share more information with students as it becomes available.

Lab classes, skilled trades classes, clinicals and studio performance opportunities have also been canceled as they are no longer feasible. Faculty and staff are currently looking into alternative learning opportunities.
