UNIVERSITY CENTER – Don’t miss SVSU’s inspiring evening celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. The event will feature speaker, educator, and author Melissa Harris-Perry.
The MLK Scholarship Awards and the Regional Drum Major Awards will be presented in recognition of outstanding individuals in our community.
This event takes place on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. in the Malcolm Field Theatre. A dinner will be held before the event at 5:30 p.m. You can register for free at An Evening with Melissa Harris-Perry.
Melissa Harris-Perry, is an award winning author, public speaker, and a researcher and educator at Wake Forest University.
