Career Pathways gives students opportunity to pave their future

Students unsure of what career they want to pursue, or curious about the day-to-day aspects of their dream job, can have their questions answered at the Career Pathways event on Friday, Oct. 23 on Delta’s main campus.

“It’s a career exploration event and the goal is to help students to connect with professionals from a wide range of careers,” says Daniel Segura, associate director of the Counseling/Advising Center.

Career Pathways will take place from 8 a.m. to noon on Delta’s main campus.

This event is in its 15th year and is open to the community. Students who are interested but may not know what to ask about at the event can pick up a student booklet at Career Services (D-102), which includes suggestions for students to ask the professionals. At the Career Pathways event, around 200 area professionals will be on campus to educate, promote and share their career experiences with students.
