Campus club offers free PC repair

By Gabrielle Martin, Staff Reporter.

The Information Technology and Security (ITS) Club at Delta is offering a free PC clinic on Dec. 5 and Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first 10 computers that are dropped off at K-110 between 11 a.m. and noon will be serviced.

Computers dropped off after that will be serviced as technicians and time allow. Anyone with a Mac or Windows PC is invited to have their computer serviced.

Cynthia Drouse, Associate Professor of Computer Science and Information Technology, will be on the scene assisting students who are working on the computers. She recommends attending the event on Dec. 5 so if the technicians recommend software, it could be purchased and brought back on Dec. 12 to be installed.

Technicians are able to do anything from troubleshooting and repairing system errors to removing viruses and spyware to installing or uninstalling software programs.

For more information, contact Cynthia Drouse at 989-686-9069 or cjdrouse@delta.edu.
