Bay City has their 70th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade with pride

The chilly weather didn’t stop the people of Bay City from gathering around the streets from the neighborhood to the city on Sunday to enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day parade on March 17. The parade is a time-honored tradition that started all the way back in 1955, with a passion that just won’t quit.

The event was full of fun filled spectacles like the Traverse City Pipe Band, decorated trucks and classic cars, and a mobile porta potty that zoomed around the road. There was a myriad of floats ornamented with green, white and orange flaunting their stuff with gusto, and candy that was given out like… well candy.

If you missed out this year, mark your calendar for the next to join in on the holiday cheer.
