UNIVERSITY CENTER – This NFL free agency will be one to remember if everything goes well – but it probably won’t be, just saying.

Here are the top 10 most impactful things that happened in the 2020 free agency so far:

1. The Detroit Lions traded CB Darius Slay to the Philadelphia Eagles for their 2020 third and fifth round picks. The Eagles got better for sure; let’s just hope the Lions use those draft picks wisely.

2. The Chicago Bears trade their 2020 compensatory fourth round pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars for QB Nick Foles. The Bears are just reaching for even an okay quarterback at this time.

3. The Las Vegas Raiders signed QB Marcus Mariota. Now the Raiders have two mediocre to above-average quarterbacks.

4. The Dallas Cowboys signed WR Amari Cooper to a long-term contract, leaving Dak Prescott to be the only one to not get his money.

5. The Minnesota Vikings traded WR Stefon Diggs and seventh round pick to the Buffalo Bills for their 2020 first, fifth and sixth round picks, and their fourth round pick in 2021. It was win-win for both teams, since Diggs wasn’t happy there and the Vikings already got weapons.

6. QB Philip Rivers signed with the Indianapolis Colts. This is a slight upgrade at the Colts quarterback position, but nothing to make them a Super Bowl contender.

7. The Los Angeles Rams cut RB Todd Gurley, proving that the running back position is not that valuable in today’s game.

8. The Dallas Cowboys put the franchise tag on QB Dak Prescott. With Zeke Elliot and Amari Cooper already paid, this will surely put some bad blood between Prescott and Jerry Jones.

9. QB Tom Brady went to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If this works out well, this will be the most legendary move by the legend Brady.

10. The Houston Texans traded WR DeAndre Hopkins and 2020 fourth round pick to the Arizona Cardinals for RB David Johnson and 2020 second round pick and 2021 fourth round pick. This trade might make Deshaun Watson want to leave. I wouldn’t blame him.
