BAY CITY – Interested in the arts and want to support local Michigan artists? Then join the community and pay a visit to the Arts Center Studio 23 in downtown Bay City! At Studio 23 all exhibits are free admission.
A current running exhibit is Beneath Dual Skies, through the use of found objects visiting artist Dana Lynn Harper explores her experiences with sculptural works of art. Runs from Aug. 24 to Oct. 21, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
An upcoming exhibit is 50 artists of the Great Lakes Bay Region, which displays the works of 50 artists from all over the Great Lakes Bay Region. Runs from Sept. 21 to Nov. 11, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
While you are there check out the handmade and local art and merchandise for sale to help support the artists and studio. The studio also has classes and art themed activities available for both kids or adults to enjoy. From after school art classes for kids and teens or classes and craft bar parties for adults there’s tons of creative fun and experience to be had.
