MOUNT PLEASANT– Central Michigan University will have a virtual “Speaking up” Powerplay Workshop from 9 a.m. until noon on Friday, Jan. 21.
This event will be an interactive event provided by the theatre company Powerplay and bias intervention expert, Stephanie Goodwin. “Speaking up” will allow participants to learn about bystander reactions to social biases and how these reactions can determine the decision to speak up. Participants will learn valuable strategies on how to speak up for themselves and others in their everyday lives.
