If you are starting your college career at Delta, or if you’re a returning student next fall, the opening day for fall registration is coming up fast. Everyone is open to register Monday, April 18, at 8 a.m.
If you’ve already completed courses at Delta you may be able to register as early as April 12 depending on the number of credits you’ve already earned. Follow this link to find out what times you can start registering: www.delta.edu/registrars-office/registerforclasses/registrationdates.
Remember that registering early can get you into the classes that you want with the teachers that you want. No one wants to be on the waitlist for a class they really need.
“On a standpoint of building the perfect schedule, the earlier someone registers, the better they are at finding a good schedule,” says Daniel Segura, associate director of Counseling-Advising and Career Services. “We offer lots of classes at lots of different times. But for many of the classes that are more specialized or maybe further along in someone’s program, there may only be one or two classes offered, or sometimes for prerequisite courses for programs that are in high demand, those classes fill up very quickly.”
If you’re having trouble scheduling our classes, wondering which classes you should take or have any questions about your program and what you should do next you can visit the Counseling and Advising Center, D-102. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. until 6 p.m., and from 7:45 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday.
The last day of the open registration period, before payment is due, is on Tuesday, July 6 at 6 p.m.
