After all the chaos in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, we finally have the official divisional round set up. It’s time for my Divisional round playoff games predictions!
Let’s get started with the AFC games.
The Houston Texans at the Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are very hot right now, winning six straight games. Their defense has stepped up lately, especially the secondary lead, the Tyrann “Honey-badger” Mathieu, who was their only weakness last year. So with that taken care of, I think it’s a wrap for my Texans.
Tennessee Titans at the Baltimore Ravens
Obviously, I think the Ravens are going to wreck the titans. But, Lamar hasn’t played football in three weeks. Nine times out of ten though, the Ravens are way too talented for the Titans. Both teams are hot, with the Titans eliminating the Patriots and the Ravens winning 14 games. I got Baltimore getting the BIG DUB!
Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers
I have the Vikings winning this one. Dalvin Cook is a monster and they have a Kirk Cousins with nothing to lose and three pro Bowlers he can throw it to, so I THINK they should win. (I’m 53.45% certain.) Granted, I want to see what Jimmy Garoppolo can do in his first playoff game.
Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers
I got the Seattle Seahawks easily. They’ve got a better team with better weapons and believe it or not, Marshawn Lynch hasn’t been bad in his immediate return to the team. Plus, Russell Wilson has two blossoming receivers—Tyler Lockett and D.K Metcalf—to throw against the middle-of-the-pack Packers’ secondary. But, Aaron Rodgers isn’t called one of the most talented quarterbacks ever for nothing, so I can’t completely count them out. I’m 61.89 percent sure the Seahawks win.
And there are my predictions. I low-key hope I was wrong about the AFC games so I can see a Titans at Texans AFC championship game.
