On Thursday Feb. 6 Delta College is hosting a movie night showing Hidden Figures for Black History Month. This feature will be shown at 3 different locations, Delta’s main campus, downtown Bay City campus planetarium, and the downtown Saginaw campus. The showing will start at 5:30 p.m. and go until 8 p.m.
Hidden Figures is a history drama film about 3 African American women who are mathematicians, playing a key part in astronaut John Glenn’s launch into orbit while facing discrimination for race and gender in the workplace. The film’s entry is free and snacks will be provided.
