MIDLAND – On Monday, Jan 16, Midland will host a food giveaway to pay homage to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event is at the Dow Diamond outfield parking lot. Participants must register by 8 a.m., and the distribution will start at 9 a.m. and run until all food and resources are distributed.
This event is free and open to everyone. People are asked to stay in their vehicles as it is set up as a drive-through. Volunteers will be deliver food and resources directly into vehicles. Ensure there is space and room for the donations.
Distribution was made possible with the help of the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, Corteva Agriscience, the Midland County Emergency Food Pantry Network, The Arc of Midland, and the Great Lakes Loons.
