Feb. 27 Little Pastry shop in Bay City Michigan is hosting a Paczki pop-up preparing for Paczki Day (fat tuesday). Paczki’s are made traditional style no fillings with glaze and powdered sugar.
Paczkis are a Polish dessert made by deep frying dough balls often topped with powdered sugar or a type of filling. These desserts are often consumed around Fat Tuesday before Lent, where a 40-day prayer and fast are done before Easter in Christianity.
