FRANKENMUTH – Last week was the 31st Annual Zehnder’s Snowfest. The projection for this year’s Snowfest was over 100,000 people, a record turnout.
The annual winter tradition began on Wednesday, Jan. 26, and ended Sunday, Jan. 30.
The cold weather set in for the week, but that didn’t stop people from coming out to see the ice sculptures, ice carvings, and fireworks. There were heated tents set out for live music, drinks, and food. The sculptures were spread out across town, canvasing owls, tigers, sharks, and more.
The turnout was terrific for this year, with people from all walks of life to see the magic of what Snowfest brings to the town of Frankenmuth every year.
Enjoy this short video of some of the sculptures created for this year’s Snowfest.
