The SVRC Marketplace is a community hotspot with many free events. Food vendors, farmers, artists and more can be found selling goods at the Marketplace. Being only a short walk from Delta’s Saginaw campus, here are some upcoming events:
A blood drive will be held Oct 24, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Walk-ins are possible, but appointments are preferred and can be made via phone by calling 866-642-5663.
Family fun and trick-or-treating will take place Oct. 25, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This event is free and will have live entertainment and over 20 community partners participating.
Enjoy two Chili contests on Nov. 2, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Guests will be able to sample the chilis and vote for their favorites.
Part one of the Maker’s Market event takes place on Nov. 15, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will provide a unique shopping experience while highlighting seasonal beverages.
Part two of the Maker’s Market event takes place on Nov. 16, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests will be able to enjoy a showing of crafting talents and find handcrafted goods.
