Over 25 vendors set up shop at the local Art Jamboree at the SVRC market in Saginaw Oct. 19 to share handcrafted art and baked goods.
Costumes, unique crafts, and good spirits filled the room while local artists and small businesses showcased their wares. Among the tables were prints of art, crocheted goods, jewelry, treats and many other options for attendees to enjoy.

“This just gives them (vendors) recognition–I mean–there’s not only people shopping but you meet other vendors that give you the connections you might not know you needed,” organizer Nicole Anton said.
Since the beginning the Jamboree has aimed to be a safe place for vendors new and experienced to branch out and build a community. As well as creating a space for local art enthusiasts to come and have family-friendly fun for the day.
The next Jamboree, which is Christmas themed, is taking place Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. If you missed out on the opportunity to attend or vend and want to, this is your chance.
