Brown Bag film session explores fascism

On Wednesday, Jan. 15 the Humanities Learning Center will be hosting a Brown Bag film session. The film will be shown in room N-007 near Red Brix at 12 p.m.

In this one-hour special from his popular PBS series, Rick Steves investigates how fascism rose and then fell in Europe. The film traces fascism’s history from its roots after World War I, when masses of angry people rose up, to the rise of charismatic leaders who manipulated that anger, the totalitarian societies they built, and the brutal measures they used to enforce their ideology.
