The men’s and women’s basketball teams wrapped up their regular seasons this week, both taking home victories.
The men finished the year 11-16 and defeated the Alpena Community College Lumberjacks 79-60 on Feb. 25. Jayden Hackett had 33 points, while Willie Humphrey had a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. The women finished 10-16 and also defeated the Lumberjacks on Feb. 25 70-59.
The men and women will face off against the Bay College Norse on March 4 at Bay College. The Norse women swept Delta during the regular season with victories of 87-46 and 81-60 and the Norse men did the same with a 118-96 and a 97-75 victory.
The women’s game will begin at 5:30 p.m. while the men’s game begins at 7:30 p.m.
