Delta College will be hosting the Community College Completion Corps, or C4, on Nov. 17-20 to assist students in completing their degree. The event will host several Delta alumni and teachers giving speeches to encourage students to finish their programs. Students will be encouraged to sign a pledge to demonstrate their commitment to completing their certificate or degree.
The Delta College Lecture Theater will host guest speaker Jay Garth on Nov. 17 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. as he gives tips for those going through the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math fields. Nov. 18 will have “master” teachers giving advice at the Red Brix Café from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Delta graduates will be doing a panel called “Why Completion Matters” on Nov. 19 and will talk about discovering student passions. Josh Trader will be giving closing statements in the Founder’s Hall on Nov. 20 around 2 p.m. till 3 p.m.
