The Tigers will be in the warming tent at Zehnder’s Snowfest, which runs until Jan. 27. Attendees of the event will have a chance to win prizes as well as participate in a question and answer session with the team.
Last year’s Winter Caravan featured General Manager Al Avila, Executive Vice President Duane McLean, Assistant General Manager David Chadd, Special Assistant to the General Manager Alan Trammell, Manager Rod Gardenhire, as well as players Buck Farmer, Daniel Stumpf, broadcasters; and the Tigers’ mascot, Paws. However, the Tigers have not announced the players that will be partaking in this year’s festivities.
The Winter Caravan will also be stopping just outside of Comerica Park tomorrow morning, where several players will be signing autographs. Next, the Caravan will be visiting Lake Shore High School in St. Clair Shores on Thursday, Jan. 30 as part of their kids rally.
