Meet mid-Michigan’s spooky rock and roll band, Vlad’s Skeletal Circus
By Maddox Salcedo
The mid-Michigan area has many talented groups in the music scene with a fresh unique sound and the potential to be the next breakthrough artist. In this premiere episode of SMASHED TV, we interviewed Vlad’s Skeletal Circus in Bay City, Mich.
Although they don’t stick to one genre, Vlad’s Skeletal Circus can be described as horror punk and spooky rock and roll.
Vlad’s Skeletal Circus started in Robert Vlad Nelson’s band when he lived in Tampa Florida. But when he moved up to Michigan he found guitarist/drummer Buzzkill Pumpkins (Connor Zielinski) and bassist The Creature (Adam Emmendorfor), officially forming Vlad’s Skeletal Circus.
This group has opened for horror rock legends like Doyle, Halloween and The Koffin Kats. Vlad’s Skeletal Circus debuts their self-titled album on March 18.
