This week, the Pioneers will face two NJCAA Region XII North Division foes and aim to defend their home court at the Pioneer Gym.
On Wednesday, the Pioneers will play against the Montcalm Community College Centurions. The women’s team enters with a record of 3-10 and a 2-2 conference record. The Centurion men come in with a 9-9 record, a 3-1 conference record, and a two-game win streak. The women’s game begins at 5:30 p.m., with the men’s game following at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday’s matchup pits the Pioneers against the Alpena Community College Lumberjacks. The Lumberjack women have a record of 2-11 and are 1-4 in the conference. The Lumberjack men are 1-13 and 0-5 in conference play. The women’s game begins at 1 p.m., with the men’s game following at 3 p.m.
