Pioneers play Jayhawks

On Wednesday, Jan. 15 the Delta College men’s and women’s basketball teams will be squaring off against the Muskegon Community College Jayhawks. The women’s team starts at 5:30 p.m., and the men’s team follows right after at 7:30 p.m. Both games are in the Delta College Pioneer gym.

Last season, the men’s team defeated the Jayhawks 90-73 on Feb. 7, and the women’s team lost 89-53 at the Great Lakes District B Quarterfinal on March 5. The Pioneer men enter with a record of 5-9, while the women are 4-9 but have won their last two games. The Jayhawk men enter at 8-7 while the women are 11-3.
