This April, it’s time to dig out those leather jackets and get ready to tease up your hair, because the 80s are making a comeback with two nostalgic festivals.. So, mark your calendars, gather your friends, and get ready to rock out to your favorite 80s tunes. These festivals are sure to be a radical time!
Bringing Back the 80’s Fest will be held Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22, at Heritage Park at the Harvey Kern Pavilion in Frankenmuth. On Friday people of all ages are welcome, but on Saturday only ages 21 and up are allowed. The band will be on stage from 6 p.m. until midnight both days. Tickets are $15 a piece, and have sold out quickly in years past. Check their website or call (989) 652-8008.
The Gen X Rock Festival will be held on April 27 at the Hamilton Street Pub in Saginaw, located at 308 South Hamilton Street. The event features a Godsmack Tribute by Bulletproof and four other bands. Doors open at 7 p.m. There is a $7 cover for anyone over 18. See their Facebook for more information.
