March at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Celebration

SAGINAW – March for what’s right at the 27th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Celebration on Monday, Jan. 16. 

Starting at 9:30 a.m. on the corner of Franklin and Hayden Street, participants will march from there to the Dow Event Center.  Words, prayers, and songs of encouragement will accompany those marching to keep them going. At 11 a.m. a luncheon will begin in the Unity Hall. The focus of this year’s event is “Are You Setting?” 

Jacob Brown, a motivational speaker, writer, and much more, will take the lead on this $45 event. Awards will be given out to Dante Davis and Saginaw STEM, Evelyn McGovern and the Women of Colors community group, and several other individuals and/or groups. Buy your tickets today here.
